DJ represents emerging and established fintech companies and financial institutions, with a focus on the digital asset space.
Donald (DJ) Mills assists clients with a broad range of regulatory and transactional matters, including those that implicate laws related to banking, digital assets, payments, and securities.
DJ has helped clients, including national and state banking institutions and other licensed providers of financial services, with regulatory approvals and authorizations, such as banking charters and state-specific virtual currency business activity licensure. He also supports clients with their ongoing legal and compliance questions, including those with respect to cybersecurity and anti-money laundering, commercial agreements, and the development of new products or services.
DJ's practice also touches on general corporate law, assisting companies with entity formation, terms of service, corporate governance, and restructuring matters.
